- The school functioned for nearly a decade with the above name, then in the year 1981, Mr. Poonawalla donated the land for the school building. Hence, the present name of the school is SOLI A. POONAWALLA MEMORIAL SCHOOL School is imparting the education according to RTE Act 2009 at the Primary level. (Std I-VII)
- From June 1993, with prior permission from the Department of Education. Std. VIII was started following the State Board and today we have a full-fledged high school i.e. up to Std. X and we proud to announce that school is getting 100% result in SSC Board consistently for four years.
- School Assembly Hall name was given by Mrs. Villoo Poonawalla Memorial Assembly Hall and inaugurated by Padmashree Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla & Mrs. Natasha Poonawalla on 24 Nov. 2017
- After a span of more than two decades, in the year 2004 Dr.Cyrus S. Poonawalla, Chairman of Serum Institute of India Ltd honored us by his visit & donated Rs. 25 laces for well equipped Sciences lab, Computer lab with 22 computers, Cultural hall & a School Library.
- School Bus was donated and inaugurated by Padmashree Dr. Cyrus S.Poonawalla & Mr. Adar Poonawalla on 28th October 2016.
